It's hard to find a product without sugars for kids. I think you can do this with most any fruit. One product I do like is called Frosteas and Frostbites. They are like icees, only they are sweetened only with honey or maple syrup. They're available at Whole Foods. My kids really like Cool Your Jets.

These are in my freezer right now! I had a small seedless watermelon that was a little overripe for my taste (grainy) and I was about to toss it into the compost pile and thought why not make these popsicles instead? It was incredibly sweet, but the texture wasn't what I prefer in watermelon, but it made no difference for the pops!

I will have to see if my kids like them. My littlest loves watermelon, but his sister is not so much a fan. I tried watermelon lemonade and she didn't fall for it, even though it was PINK.

Oh well!

Wow, and I have some watermelon I need to use up! Not only that...but I took my popsicle molds down from the attic yesterday. Perfect timing with this tip--thanks!

I'm definintly going to make these! I'm working on eliminating sugar in our diet and this would be perfect. My children love popsicles and I do usually make my own but I've never done this.
