I can't tell you how happy I am to have found someone who obviously enjoys hostas the way I do mine. I don't have very many yet but I am trying to learn all I can and I am finding your photographs and information most helpful.

Jane, there are so many vase-shaped hostas. I would suggest looking at the photographs and descriptions on some of the hosta retail sites. Hopefully you will find the hosta you are trying to identify.

I just purchased an un-named hosta. It is vase-shaped but that seems to be the only characteristic it shares with H. Krossa Regal. Can you tell me the names of (apparantly) fast growing, vase shaped hostas. I am assuming there are not too many cultivars with the vase-shaped appearance. Thank you.
