I don’t know if those were good guys or bad guys. Some of them sure smelled and looked like good guys, but without knowing for sure, we wouldn’t dare to risk eating them. The wheelbarrow full was just the first day’s haul. For several days afterwards, we kept pulling mushrooms out from underneath the hostas before we finally got them all gone. Holy Moly. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many mushrooms. We’ve had no rain this year (less than 2 inches) but even on a normal year, we only get two or three. I love them. They really bring out the child’s imagination.

Wow, that is amazing! I would love to see a picture of the yellow ones! Anybody a mushroom expert…it would be interesting to find out if they are poisonous or edible.
