We used to call a late snowfall “poor man’s fertilizer”. I could do without it. I hope it melts as fast as it came. I can remember snow falling on the lilacs – pretty sight but not what a spring day should look like.
I hope you don’t have any permanent damage to your gardens, Shirley. And I hope the apple growers don’t have any late frosts that kill the blossoms. Saturday is supposed to be 70 degrees here in Brunswick. I’ll take it! Lots to do outdoors this time of year. All the best to you and yours.

We ended up with over five inches of snow on the ground… briefly. The snow started melting a few hours later and is completely gone now. I don’t think it damaged anything.
It sure is nice to see the green grass again though!
