Orange Banana Strawberry Smoothie
Orange banana strawberry smoothies for breakfast… the temperature is in the low 90′s here again, so it’s another hot and sticky day. I was looking for something healthy that would be COLD and light, and this smoothie was delicious… I think it is actually better than ice cream because there is no guilt involved! Today I used organic yogurt (probiotics!!!), strawberries we picked and froze last week, bananas, and orange juice… although other combinations of fruits, berries, and juices are good too.
Ingredients
1/2 cup orange juice
1 banana, cut in chunks and frozen
1/2 cup strawberries, frozen
1/2 cup yogurt
Starting with the orange juice, put all the ingredients in the blender and blend until all the frozen pieces have blended into a smooth consistency. The mixture will be thick like soft ice cream. Garnish with a strawberry and enjoy!

I made this with raspberries instead of strawberries and it was delicious. Then I tried blackberries and didn’t like it so much. I have tried the strawberries too and they are great.

Great flavor combination! It’s kind of like drinking a delicious strawberry ice cream.
