Persistent garlic or onion odor on your hands? Rub your hands with one of the following:
- A small piece of tomato pulp
- A few coffee grounds mixed with a small amount of water
- A paste of dry mustard and warm water
Or give the most unique solution of all a try… hold all five fingers of one hand on the handle of a stainless steel fork or spoon and immerse your hand in running cold water for a few minutes. Repeat with the other hand. This really works!

Interesting tip! I never heard of the stainless steel utensil and cold water before! I usually just use lemon juice to remove the odor.
Thanks for sharing!

I always just rub my hands on the stainless steel of the sink.
