“How far you go in life depends
on your being tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged,
sympathetic with the striving,
and tolerant of the weak and the strong.
Because someday in life you will have been all of these.”
–George Washington Carver

Talk to me! :o)

This is something everybody should keep in mind. It would hopefully eliminate some of the hurtful comments that people say to each other so easily in our society. Maybe that would lead to less resentment and bad feeling and more happy people. Just thinking.

I just noticed that you have added a ton of photographs to your blog. I really really like the little captions explaining the photo and its meaning to you. I have been reading your blog for years and feel I know you from your posts and now these photos. I wish you were a neighbor!!

Love these quotes you select. They show you as a kind and gentle soul. Did you know that? I’m also enjoying the new format and the additional photos. Could I request that you post more photos of your sempervivums? I’m very into them and envy your plants.

What a beautiful sempervivum. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Icicle before. Is there any possibility of more articles about your sempervivums in the future?

I actually have this quote written on a little picture that is mounted on a tiny easel on my desk. It was a gift from an aunt many years ago and I think it’s an important thought. I was surprised to come here today and see my favorite quote on your pages. Thanks for spreading the sentiment. It’s one I think everyone should try to remember. BTW- I too love the additional photo’s.
