if you are interested, you never have to look for new interests.
They come to you.
When you are genuinely interested in one thing,
it will always lead to something else.”

I have just finished one biography of Eleanor Roosevelt and am starting another. I’m surprised by how different she is than I have read before. This quote is a good one. Thanks for sharing it.

So true. I always have more things I want to do than I have time for. I think it is important for children especially to learn this quality.

I never understand what people mean when they say they are bored because I never have been. I have so many interests – and like this quote says, one leads to another. I think the key here is the word ‘genuine’. So much of what we have to do is not interesting to us. How can it possibly lead to something that is? Stay true to yourself. Follow your instincts and your interests and your world will grow.
