Equivalent Measurements For Meat & Dairy

I made these charts, printed them out, and put them inside one of my favorite cookbooks because I could never remember (and could never find easily) these equivalent measurements when I needed them. I hope you’ll find these charts helpful too. This chart is for meat and dairy.

Ingredient Approximate Equivalent Measurements
Bacon (Cooked) 1 tablespoon, crumbled 1 slice
Bacon (Cooked) 1 to 1 1/2 cups, crumbled 1 pound
Bacon 1 pound 16 to 24 slices
Beef (Cooked & Diced) 3 cups 1 pound
Beef (Ground) 2 cups raw, 12 ounces cooked 1 pound
Chicken (Bone In) 2 1/2 to 3 cups, cooked and diced 3 pounds
Chicken (Boned) 3 cups, cooked and diced 1 pound
Chicken (Whole) 2 to 3 cups, cooked and diced 2 to 3 pounds
Ham 3 cups, diced 1 pound
Cheese (Cheddar) 2 cups, shredded 8 ounces
Yogurt 1 cup yogurt “cheese” 3 cups
