Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Oh, I love the light in this photo. Shining through the leaves on that lonely road.

That’s great. I have difficulty capturing whole scenes like this one. Mine usually look like a whole bunch of space. This is marvelous. Hats off to your talent!

Patricia, yes… I do feel that those words in the poem speak to me… so hopefully they do describe the theme of my blog.

Hi Shirley,
I love the photos on your blog. Are these local photos of where you live or on your property? I have always loved trees and the fall leaves too. Sadly here in FL. I do not get to see the wonderful change of colors where we live. Thanks for sharing!

Grace, yes, all of the photos on this blog (except for the one of the old house that was torn down) are from our yard or around our property. The trees have been really beautiful. Unfortunately, a majority of the leaves are now on the ground, but the foliage season is one of my favorite times of year.
