“Don’t wait until everything is just right.
It will never be perfect.
There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions.
So what.
Get started now.
With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger,
more and more skilled, more and more self-confident
and more and more successful.”

I have never understood why people think everything should be perfect before they do things. When my husband and I were first married we had almost nothing but we expected that and we worked together to get to where we are today. We own our own house mortgage free, we have money in the bank and a great life. I think it was because we didn’t expect everything to be perfect. We worked hard doing the best we could and we were happy. This is a wonderful quote and I want to take this opportunity to tell you that I enjoy your writings very very much. You have a wonderful talent.

Thank you, this was perfect timing for me to read this today.

I so needed this sentiment today. I have a project that I really want to pursue and I have been planning it down to the last detail. I really have it to the point now where everything is ready but I have been waiting for the perfect time to begin. Bingo! The quote is right. I realize now there never will be a perfect time to begin. I just have to jump in there and give it everything I’ve got. You have a great blog. I always come away feeling inspired.

I used to get so caught up in making lists and planning every minor detail that I never got to whatever it was I was trying to do. I do better now that I don’t wait for everything to be exactly perfect. I think people miss out on a lot by not taking advantage of the present.

This is great advice. I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t remember any time in my entire life when everything was as perfect as I wish it would be. Somehow if you just keep trying and work hard things will work out.
